We want to reach into the subtle currents and overarching significance of events for the sake of sending blessing and compassion toward all the suffering that is taking place through this war.

Here in America we may not have a sense for the vastness and beauty of the Ukrainian region, a sense for the earth of it….

The mind and body can notice their agitation, settle down, and so allow new possibilities of presence to emerge. These new arrivals fall down like a welcome Spring rain; they rise up like petrichor; it turns out they were always there.

I was pausing on a walk up to my beloved East Rock in Great Barrington yesterday, and saw this mountain range from above -- really rocks and roots about 4 inches tall.
